Scott Catuccio, Co-founder, Board president, facilities director, has a background in electronics which he received through his time in the Navy working on submarine communications, airport RADAR and IFF systems. He has owned and operated an IT and networking company for over 20 years. Scott has a skill for fixing just about anything that is put in front of him. The motto is, “It’s not broken until Scott says so.” As a formerly homeless and bullied youth, Scott has a long time passion to help kids feel better about themselves, assisting them to find their value and encouraging them towards healing and permanent self-sufficiency.
 

Kristen Mitchell

Board Vice President
Executive Director, Youth Futures

Kristen is an entrepreneur and a self starter.  She has independently owned and operated her own businesses for 20 yrs, including a small manufacturing company, an art gallery and a non-profit crisis hotline.  Kristen has been involved with human service oriented agencies for over 25 years; working in group homes, respite services, and volunteer service projects, including those that benefited persons experiencing homelessness. Kristen has served in service council positions for Salt Lake Community College and Weber State University. Kristen is the parent of two youth; one who is LGBT and one who has had extensive difficulties in his teen years.  Kristen has had a long time goal of opening a respite/shelter/community facility for youth for over 6 years.  This project has come to fruition with the opening of Youth Futures Shelter Home in Ogden, Utah.
